This policy distinguishes between La Lente’s digital service — which is non-refundable — and La Galleria’s physical products, which are subject to Fourthwall’s refund policy.
01La Lente — no-refund policy
Purchases of La Lente subscriptions and usage packages are final sales. Fees paid are strictly non-refundable, as they concern digital services and content made available to you immediately upon purchase.
This includes amounts corresponding to subscription periods already started and to uses already available or consumed. Cancelling the renewal stops future charges but does not generate a refund of amounts already paid.
02Notice for European Economic Area (EEA) customers
Pursuant to Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent.
By making the purchase, you actively give your consent to the immediate supply of the analytical package and expressly and knowingly acknowledge that, with such commencement, you formally waive and lose your statutory right of withdrawal and any associated refund request.
This acknowledgement is requested individually at checkout, via a checkbox that is not pre-ticked, before you confirm the transaction.
03Cancelling the subscription
You may cancel future renewals of your subscription at any time, clearly and without penalty, from your account panel. Cancellation is effective for future billing cycles; access is maintained until the end of the period already paid. This mechanism satisfies both Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act and the withdrawal-button requirement of EU Directive 2023/2673.
04Tax refunds (Paddle)
Under our Merchant of Record’s terms, any refund of taxes charged in error requires that you make contact within 60 days of the transaction and provide a valid tax code. These requests are handled through Paddle.
05La Galleria — physical products (Fourthwall)
The store’s physical products (illustrations, prints and merchandise) are not covered by La Lente’s no-refund policy. Their sale and fulfilment are handled by Fourthwall, and returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by Fourthwall’s policy and by the consumer rights applicable to physical goods.
