Sir Balone uses no first-party tracking cookies. Our analytics run in cookieless mode. This policy explains what that means and what the third-party services we embed may do.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device. They are used, among other things, to remember preferences, keep a session signed in, or measure usage. Related technologies also exist, such as the browser’s local storage.
02Our stance: cookieless analytics
To map and improve the site experience we use PostHog in cookieless mode. In this configuration no cookies, local or session storage, or persistent identifiers linked to you are stored. Measurement is done via irreversible hashes with daily salts, and we have disabled IP-address capture. The result is aggregated, anonymous analytics. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
03Strictly necessary cookies
We may use a minimal number of strictly necessary cookies or local storage for the operation of the service — for example, to keep your authenticated session in La Lente after you use the access link. These do not require consent because they are essential to providing the service you request.
04Third-party cookies
Some embedded third-party components may set their own cookies when you interact with them, subject to their respective policies:
- Beehiiv — newsletter form and management.
- Fourthwall — store checkout and fulfilment.
- Paddle — La Lente payment window.
We do not control the cookies these providers may set; we recommend reviewing their cookie and privacy policies.
05How to manage cookies
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time from its privacy settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how some parts of the service work, such as signing in.
06Quebec and EEA residents
For traffic from Quebec (Law 25) and the European Economic Area (GDPR/ePrivacy), any non-essential tracking technology remains disabled by default and, where applicable, would only be activated with your prior consent. Because our analytics operate anonymously and without cookies, we deploy no non-essential tracking.
